Sarah Lennox

Sarah is a graduate student near Portland, Oregon.  She is studying for her Masters in Teaching to become a secondary English teacher, and serves as a Girl Scout Leader for 4th through 12th grade girls.  While not working with children, she and her partner Jared spend time exploring the Northwest forests and restaurants, cooking at home, or trying to remember to do the laundry.  Sarah was raised in the United Church of Scotland (called the Scottish Episcopalian Church in the US) – and describes her faith as “Catholic light – with gays, divorce and women priests.”  Sarah attended Seattle University for her undergraduate degree, and last studied the bible while there, under the leadership of the Jesuits embedded at SU.  Sarah uses the Kings James translation of the Bible for her personal reading and this project.  She posts on Friday’s.
