As I have been discussing for weeks now, I recently completed my dissertation and successfully defended. The hard part and most time consuming was writing and remaining focused during the process but now that I am finished the question has become, what about jobs? I’ve looked and seen different jobs that have been interesting but I know that I want to be in a specific area and I also know that I want to do a specific job. As I was reading today’s passage I was struck by the Luke 22: 42
saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.
I have been stressed about where or when the job will come and I had to remember that God’s will, will be done. I have told the Lord the desires of my heart and I know that God will provide. I know that I need to do my part and apply the jobs of interest but ultimately God has the final say on what will or won’t be done and I have to have faith and know that God is faithful as well.
Today I encourage you to trust the Lord and know that regardless the circumstance, whether it be difficult, scary, worrisome or otherwise that God’s will shall be done. Trues that the Lord will take care of you and ease your troubles and get out of your own way because worrying changes nothing.
Have a Blessed Week!
