Full disclosure, I have not read for a few weeks. Yup, a few. The reason I contribute to primarily is my dissertation which I turned in last week. (Yay me!) I have been working on my doctorate for 6 years and in that time I have gotten married and had a child and I am unapologetic about that because I decided to live prior to moving to pursue a degree. In other words, I wanted to enjoy my life. I didn’t want to be so involved in school that I missed out on the life I wanted to live. Therefore, this last week has consisted of catching up on sleep, celebrating this huge accomplishment and spending family time. I’m beyond blessed to have reached this milestone and I want to jump back in and read or listen consistently and check- in with the other co-bloggers.
I am allowing myself some grace and I wanted to share the scripture that kept me going through long days and minimal motivation.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.
I hope you all are energized to continue to live the life God has for you and have a wonderful week!
